As an event photographer in London, I work with organisations and businesses of all sizes to document events in a way that feels natural, engaging and true to the experience.

Before becoming a professional photographer, I spent more than 20 years working in corporate events, organising and hosting events for both clients and large global organisations. That experience means I understand exactly how much work goes into planning an event, how events run behind the scenes and where the most important moments are likely to happen.

From the smallest details of the setup to the energy of the room when guests arrive, my aim is always to create a collection of images that tell the full story of your event.

When you hire me to photograph your event, you’re not just getting a photographer with a good eye — you’re also working with someone who understands events from the inside.

Having spent many years working within the events industry, I know how events flow, where important moments are likely to happen and how to work discreetly without disrupting the experience for guests.

Natural, Candid and Engaging Event Photography

During an event I work in a way that allows me to move easily between capturing candid moments and engaging with guests when needed.

Many moments are best photographed discreetly — allowing people to interact naturally without feeling aware of the camera. At other times, particularly with speakers, award winners or key attendees, I’ll briefly guide people so we capture strong images they’ll be happy to use.

This approach creates a balanced collection of images including:

• natural candid moments
• audience reactions
• speaker presentations
• group photographs
• portraits of key attendees

The result is a varied gallery of images that truly reflects the experience of the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It really depends on the event. Some clients book as soon as the date is confirmed, which can be six months to a year ahead, and that's always my preference as popular dates fill quickly. That said, I do take last minute bookings when my diary allows. If your date is free I'll always do my best to make it work. And if I'm not available, I have a trusted network of event photographers I work with regularly, so I can usually find someone who can cover your event to the same standard.

  • You'll receive a full gallery of professionally edited images from your event. I don't cap the number artificially. The gallery will cover the full story of the day, from setup and atmosphere through to speakers, guests and key moments.

  • This depends entirely on what you need. If you need images quickly for press or social media, same day delivery is possible. For a fully edited gallery the turnaround depends on the size of the event and what's been agreed in advance. We'll discuss timing as part of the booking process so there are no surprises.

  • For larger or more complex events where full coverage is important, I sometimes work with a second and third photographer and videographer. This is something we'll discuss when planning your event so the right level of coverage is in place from the start.

  • Yes. Depending on your needs, I can incorporate videography into your event coverage or bring in a trusted videographer I work with regularly. Whether you need a short highlight reel for social media, a full event film, or simply someone to capture key moments on video alongside the photography, we can discuss what would work best for your event and build that into your quote.

  • Yes, and I've photographed events internationally as well as across the UK. Travel costs depend entirely on where the event is taking place and will be outlined clearly in your quote so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Every event is different, so I don't have fixed packages. Get in touch with the details of your event, including the date, location, expected number of guests and the type of coverage you need, and I'll come back to you with a tailored quote.
